Jesuskind (Christ Child) from 1506 is an early devotional image attributed to Bernardino Luini or his followers. The isolated figure of the Christ Child was a popular subject for intimate devotional use in Italian homes and private chapels Oil on canvas, increasingly preferred over panel in the sixteenth century, offered greater flexibility for large-scale compositions The work is now in the collection of Bavarian State Painting Collections in Munich.

The Christ Child is rendered with the soft modeling and sweet expression characteristic of the Luini school, creating an appealing devotional image.
